Rules and Guidelines
Subdivision Rules
- NO TRESPASSING: If the property is posted NO TRESPASSING stay off/stay out or you will be prosecuted. Trespassing includes purple markings. Be a good neighbor, stay in your own yard and respect others. NO ONE is to use Lake Adelle Common ground for anything without permission from the board.
- PETS: Pets are to be kept on a leash at all times. All animals are to be under owner's control at all times.
- NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH: Neighborhood watch coordinator reminds all residents that we are not to confront people. Gather as much information as possible, as safely as you can and pass it on to law enforcement.
- TREES/BUSHES/DITCHES: Please trim all trees, bushes, brush, etc to allow for road clearance and for mail delivery and trash pickup. Clean and maintain ditches for proper water runoff.
- NO PARKING ON ROADS: Just a reminder that your are not to park on the roads in our subdivision. Roads must be kept clear so that any vehicle and especially emergency vehicles can get through. Any vehicle parked on our roads will be posted and then will be removed. When dropping off or picking up children at bus stops, please be courteous and only park on one side so cars get by.
- NO PARKING OF COMMERCIAL VEHICLES IN THE SUBDIVISION
- SPEED LIMITS: Our roads are very narrow. Speed limits should be maintained as posted and speeds should never exceed 20 MPH.
- NO SHOOTING IN LAKE ADELLE: There is not to be any firing of weapons in or around Lake Adelle. Police will be called.
- CURFEW IS DUSK: Lake passes are being checked. Be prepared to provide a pass if asked. All owners must accompany guests while at the lake.
Lake and Beach Rules
- All residents and guests must have a Lake Adelle Owners card to be able to fish and/or swim in the lake.
- All owners and guests without their card in their possession will be asked to leave. Police will be called in the event of any problem.
- New homeowners should call the Lake Supervisor to obtain a fishing/swimming card.
- Replacement cards cost $10.00 each. Money collected for replacement cards goes to restocking the lake.
- All homeowners that are six (6) months late with their assessment payment lose their right to use the lake and beach until assessments are paid in full.
- There is a two (2) pole limit per person. Poles cannot be left unattended or out all night unattended. Call the Lake Supervisor regarding unattended poles.
- No trout lines.
- No limb lines.
- No jugging.
- No frog gigging.

Daily limits:
- Catfish - 3 per person - 14" and over
- Bluegill - 15 per person
- Bass - 2 per person - 18" and over
- Crappie - 5 per person - 9" and over
- Any boat left in the lake for more than 14 days will be considered abandoned. The boat will be removed and sold for scrap. The money obtained will be used to buy more fish.
- In order to build a stationary dock, plans have to be approved by the Board. Be aware that anyone is able to use your dock with you being liable for all accidents and injuries. Lake Adelle is NOT responsible for any accidents or injuries.
- Be respectful of all homeowners around the lake and your community. Don't use profanity. Trash cans are provided at the beach. Do not leave trash in or around the lake.
- Curfew is dusk at the lake/beach. This is strictly enforced and in place to keep our community safe. Police will be called in the event of a problem.
- Not following the rules results in a loss of fishing/swimming privileges for six (6) months.
Trash Dumpster Usage Guidelines
This container is for residents of Lake Adelle only. There are to be no hazardous materials including: inflammable materials, paint, insecticides, oil, tires, batteries, etc. Be courteous to the triangle and to all residents' properties. All items are to be placed in the container, in an orderly manner. Please place all items as far toward the front as possible and please stack items so there is room for everyone to use. Nothing is to be placed outside of dumpsters. Nothing can be above the side of the dumpster. DO NOT OVERFILL DUMPSTER. IF IT IS FULL THEN DO NOT LEAVE YOUR ITEMS!!!
